About Myself

Hello again!

So, as you know, my *blogging* name is Hope, and I am 12 years of age. But right below this quite boring sentence is the more funny, sad, and interesting bits of my life.

I live in Britain, so therefore I own a huge amount of winter clothes. My birthday is in December, quite close to Christmas, so I can never have a party, because everyone is busy, and even if I would have a party, all I would be able to do is go Ice Skating. I envy people who’s birthday is in the summer – you could have a swimming party, a barbecue, etc..

Anyway, a couple months after I was born, I got tonsillitis and an eye infection (can’t remember what it was called) where my eyelids grew massive. My tonsillitis was quite bad too – my throat had swollen to the point where it was hard for me to breathe. (obviously I can’t remember, I’m just saying the stuff my mum told me) My eyes got pretty bad, too – skip this bit if you don’t like to think of gruesome things… the snot from my nose came out of my eyes, so when i sneezed, for example, all the snot would come out of my….. yeah, you get it. Ew. Sorry.

All of the doctors where saying to my parents that apparently I had one eye infection, oh no sorry, we meant this one, oh no actually this one. But one day, when I was on the edge of Deaths hill, a teenager doctor – who wasn’t even qualified as a doctor – came to see me and told my parents what I actually had; conjunctivitis. (I remember now! yay me) He then gathered some doctors and they found that he was right, and they saved my life.

It’s funny how I’m writing this whilst my eyes are itchy… anyway, I am very grateful for the teenagers knowledge, even though I suffer with bad cases of hay-fever… but that’s another story. Goodbye for now, -Hope x
